Description
This sea salt is gently smoked and features a piquant, intense taste. The smoke aroma comes from the fact that the salt is cold-smoked over beech wood for 14 days - hence the golden brown appearance. The salt adds a piquant, aromatic taste to all dishes. It is ideal for grilled foods, steaks, fried potatoes, stews, fish, cheese as well as for sauces and dips but also for vegetarian and vegan dishes. The sea salt is obtained from a small salt works in the middle of a nature reserve on the Croatian coast. There it is harvested by hand and then brought to experienced master smokers in Germany to be further processed.
