Description
This porridge provides a base for a light, warm breakfast in accordance with Ayurvedic tradition. The mixture of millet, rice and quinoa flakes is complemented by the sweetness of apricots, dates, apples and mango. Ayurvedic spices such as ginger, pippali, black pepper and chilli provide a finely tuned heat, rounded off by turmeric, Ceylon cinnamon and ashwagandha. The recipe contains no added refined sugar and is ideal for the Kapha type.
Preparation:
1 portion (80 g)
Bring 80 g of porridge to the boil with 300 ml of water, milk or a plant-based drink.
Place the lid on and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Ready!
